Today Ms J and I had a very interesting chat about women. It all started with the inevitable football that's taken over the TV and she is sick of. I told her about my decision to not engage with this world cup and my reasons. This led to a talk about women, their roles, rights, strength, and hope for equality across the world.

A serious visit but she seems as passionate about it as I am, so it was quite a good talk. Of course we did circle back to my life in Australia (I think that might be slowly becoming her favourite topic) and seasons inversion with the UK. Good talks!
