The famous five met at the City of Leicester College today to start clearing an area in the Tiny Forest.

Saplings were planted in January but were being choked by weeds. It wasn’t long before the five were hard at work clearing weeds, tree bark and bagging up the rubbish.

The premises officer said that when the new term starts next week, students would be maintaining and looking after the area.

Lots of big ideas to make it a fantastic learning environment. Chocolate biscuits were very welcome while the 5 took a well earned break.

More work is being carried out by staff over the weekend.
