I took the opportunity to do an express delivery of novels for Mrs D of Maidenhead today, when I paid her a social visit. She was delighted to add more books to the earlier delivery from the local library. I think she will be busy for a while, though she tells me that she has been told she is a fast reader. She doesn't necessarily consider herself a fast reader. Her mother taught her to read at the age of 3, only so that she won't be constantly pestered by her very young daughter to read her books. Other than that, Mrs D has had a bit of rough time lately, more medical checks under way... She is really amazing how she can keep so positive when there are so many challenges coming her way. Truly inspirational! I promised I'd visit again.
