Well, we certainly lit up Bolton tonight! Well, if you spotted a bunch of flashing, glowing, women running around Bolton tonight… that was us! We joined the, Let’s Lift the Curfew campaign, and we certainly didn’t do things by halves! Head torches, flashing lights, glow sticks and enough colour to rival Blackpool Illuminations! For some ladies, this was their first-ever run in the dark. A few nerves, but once we got going there was no stopping them! Lots of laughs, plenty of conversations and I’m not sure we could have made ourselves any more visible if we’d tried! Of course, there was a serious message behind all the fun. With 72% of women changing their outdoor activity routines during winter, we wanted to show that the dark nights shouldn’t mean hanging up our trainers. Hopefully a few more ladies will now feel confident getting out for an evening run, especially with a few friends alongside them. Who needs daylight when you’ve got this lot to brighten up your evening!
