Andreana and I rocked up to Valerie's garden on a chilly Sunday afternoon to finish the job Paul and Graham started last weekend. All the leaves had been cleared so our task was to rid the garden of weeds. Valerie is an avid gardener but she has difficulty bending down so we were happy to help her out. Luckily both of us have some garden space of our own so for the most part we were able to tell the weeds from the plants.

Valerie's garden was lovely and she was kind enough to share her extensive knowledge of vegetable growing with us as we worked. This helped the time fly by and distracted us from the cold.

The two of us managed to fill two large bags with weeds in the two hours we were there before the sun set and it became too dark and cold to work outside. After cleaning up and dumping the weeds into the garden waste bins out front we parted ways and returned home to warm up.
