I met Nat at the end of my street as she told me a couple of days ago that her regular (Ms. H) wanted to donation some non-perishable foods to a local food bank - and that she needed some assistance with carrying all the items. Ms. H ideally wanted to give the food to a food bank in Sydenham (very local), but the food bank there is only open from Monday to Friday. Luckily, Nat did her research and found that the local church on Friern Road in East Dulwich area were accepting donations 24/7 with a basket outside the church's gate.

Once I met Nat, we took the scenic route through Dulwich Woods to reach Ms. H's place and proceeded to collect the various tinned foods, cereal, rice sachets and other bits and bobs. With our rugsacks full, we walked down the hill (Forest Hill) towards Friern Road to drop off all the donated food.

It was a pleasant walk with great company and weather!
