We came in with Steph having in mind this would be a light job with some lawn mowing. It turns our the lawn was already mowed, unveiling a huge work to turn around the garden that had be left alone for quite some time now. For starters, the whole area was full of dead figs which dropped from a large fig tree in the middle. We had our valiant companion dog helping grab a few figs, though he promptly gave up the task to follow his master back inside. Left to our own devices, we got at it, moving around some garbage bags based on Steph's idea to clear out the planting area. I made sure the back garden was clean and fig free while Steph ensured the front was neat. With the 2 of us we managed to completely remove all weed and overgrown grass. Trim the fig tree. Move around bags to a corner to make some space. Now Ms B can full enjoy the garden and maybe plan some more seeds! She was astonished by how much work was done in 90 minutes. Sometimes we forget but a lot can get done indeed!
