Meeting on the Leighwoods side of the bank we scouted out for areas of litter, expertly briefed by Sarah from the previous Wednesday mission. Armed with both recycling and general waste bags we began in ernest and rapidly filled 4 bags. Finds of the day were a toy duck and a pirate sword. Mind boggles of the journey they had been on to get here. We then paddled back as happy but muddy GG ducks. to the bridge to deposit our bags knowing that our mallard friends have a bit of a cleaner space for preening.
