Following on quickly from Monday’s group run supporting the Newcastle University Student Union volunteer group, we had a last minute request to pick up a parcel from the SU and deliver it to a local church, where paper angels made by university volunteers would be part of the decorations for the church’s winter fete this Saturday. Having missed the session on Monday, which looked like great fun, I was happy to pick up the baton. I managed to successfully find my way to the correct room in the SU (quite an achievement given my poor sense of direction!), pick up the parcel, then a brisk walk to Jesmond and found the correct place in the church to drop it off! Delivery dash done!
