Carol, Caroline, Karen and Sheila met at the Baby Bank. We were pleased to find that all our hard work last week had not been undone, and that the travel cots still contained our neatly labelled bags. With a temporary stop on new donations coming in we were able to sort through the bags we had , and fill up all the boxes and overflow storage bags with the quality-checked items. The Baby Bank can now issue a wish-list of the items and age ranges we are short of.We also helped put together referral packs for families in need, which is what it's all about. Another productive morning's work

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
