Eleven GG Yorkies met at Danesmead Woods, mostly by bike or walking but some brave souls ran there in the heat. We met Jude who had everything organised and ready for us. We had 2 piles of bark chips to lay to improve the paths, carrying on from Monday night's crew. One group had a fairly long distance to barrow their bark chip, but the other, smaller group only had to move their pile a few metres or so. Luckily for me I was in the second group! After about 45 minutes we had finished our task and used up both piles of bark chip. After raking the last bits underneath the rope swing, we sat around on some logs and shared Jude's tasty rocky road she had made.
