It was Harvest Festival time at Cranbrook Community Centre, where we've previously helped with the garden and distributed food to locals.

This time Heather, Ivy and John manned the stall, where donated food was available at bargain prices, in aid of the Air Ambulance.

Two samosas, two large spring rolls, two pakoras, four onion bhajis or two cakes could be had for just £1.

We've learnt gardening, painting, sawing and shovelling in GoodGym. Now we can run a cafe as well! And that was just the first shift...

Cranbrook Community Food Garden
Cranbrook Community Food Garden is one of the best established community gardens in east London.

This award-winning garden was designed and built from a desolate children’s playground nearly 10 years ago. The garden is maintained by residents of the estate and surrounding area, and aims to bring the whole community together to create social cohesion to this corner of Bethnal Green.
