Four fanstastic GoodGymers ran to help Bloom Sheffield develop their allotment site so that there will be more space to run groups supporting women with mental health needs.

We were tasked with clearing and digging over an area at the back of the allotment, removing bricks, roots, brambles and reams of ‘carpet lasagne’.

By the time we had finished, the area looked much clearer and we’d got most of the rubbish ‘in the bag’.

We are looking forward to returning to Bloom to help them develop their site and see how it transforms over time!

A flower garden for women promoting positive mental health.

We run regular open days for females from the local community to come and get involved with the development of the garden. We also run targeted gardening courses for women who need support managing their mental health.
