Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Gill (She/her)
I spent a lovely hour and a half in the sunshine this morning - and my excuse was getting out on a social mission. I’d been asked to do some gardening for a 90 year old resident. When I arrived her daughter welcomed me and showed me the borders that needed sorting out and I got stuck straight in - pulling out grass and other weeds, cutting back shrubs and withered bluebells and gathering up dead leaves. It hadn’t looked like much to do but before long I had filled up the garden waste bin with the weeds. Mrs J was delighted with the task and even offered to make a donation to GoodGym. And I was delighted that I had got to spend my morning in the sunshine instead of stuck at work behind a computer!
