Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by StephDucat
After 2 community missions, both Kash and Steph Ducat ran with Sevan to Ealing Broadway to stop for a lovely hot beverage before running again to Mr G who was desperate for some food shopping as supplies running low. We arrived early, seems we were running too fast, which meant some stretching after running in the cold. As Mr G was feeling poorly, he mentioned that he would leave the bags, food labels and cash on top of the stairs. Kash had already done several missions for Mr G, so knew exactly want he needed. He got one goodgymer and another one free for this mission. We wondered off the the local supermarket and Mr G asked if we could get him extras which we did as 2 of us. Steph's 1st mission for Mr G and loved the frames in the entrance which understood were made by Mr G : they relate to the Sex Pistols. So Mr G was a bit or still is a bit of a rebel...nothing wrong with that and great band!! The supermarket was busy, but we flew through the aisles as Kash knew where everything was. Got him vegetables, fish, pies, yogurts and his favorite bakes beans...Good save the Bean!!! The Sex Pistols could have sang that instead of God save the Queen just for Good(gym) and Mr G. We returned and then Mr G asked if we could get something he forgot on his list from the local shop a street away. He forgot to ask for AA batteries for his alarm clock. We accepted the mission and got him the batteries from the local shop where we talked with the shopkeeper about pennies.. a penny is a penny but you can have loads when saved. Once the AA where delivered we said goodbye to Mr G and as we were energized, we ran through the streets towards our homes.
