Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Mr P has recently moved house, and many of his belongings were still in random boxes and bags. Due to a disability, he has not been able to sort through his stuff and find it all places in his new home. The kitchen was piled high with stuff, limiting access and movement through to the back door. Georgeta and Sheila went to assist him in unpacking his belongings and organising the space available. It turns out that Mr P is quite a foodie, and having also lived in many exotic locations, he has also developed an exotic taste in food. He has an extensive range of spices and foodstuffs, most of which we had never heard of. Packets of fermented squid and seaweed all had to find their place on the larder shelves amongst the other packets and jars. I've named this report Around the World in 80 Spices, but we think that in reality it was far more than this! We were warned not to open one bag, as the contents were extremely stinky, despite being triple-wrapped! Amongst the boxes of crockery and kitchen equipment, Georgeta was able to find the long-lost cutlery - poor Mr P has been using plastic knives and forks snce moving, as he couldn't find them. We were pleased to eventually be able to restore some order to the kitchen, and although not everything has found a permanent home yet, at least Mr P now has access to his food and can move freely through his kitchen.

Great work! I am very intrigued to know what sorts of weird and wonderful dishes Mr P cooks up… x
