5 GoodGym runners met on a sunny but breezy Sunday morning for our regular task of litter picking the canal.

Armed with pickers and bags we made our way up to bridge 3 and then litter picked our way back to the Canal Basin. There was plenty of litter to keep us busy and fill our bin bags with cans, food wrappers, a pair of sunglasses and a car cigarette lighter ?!

After the mission we stopped at the new Playwrights café for a post-run coffee and catch up. Great morning for a great task, see you all soon to celebrate Lil’s 100th good deed!
