It was grey. Then it started hailing.

It was muddy. Then it got muddier.

But that didn't stop 57 hardy children and their parents slip-sliding their way round the two-lap course at Eltham junior parkrun.

And we were there to help make it happen. Peter was timekeeping - a role that guarantees frozen fingers in weather like this, while Johnny and Sarah offered high fives 🖐 and cheers.

Such a great way to start a Sunday, even when the weather says it ought to be a duvet day.
