Helping to create a range of healthy, colourful salad dishes for the members of the Choir With No Name and their volunteers. (About 40 people in total.) Mostly washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and chatting with the other "Kitchen Ninjas"! Full menu - 3 bean salad with new potatoes, grated raw beetroot and tomatoes and cucumber
The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK. There are currently choirs in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton (run in partnership with Brighton Housing Trust), Cardiff, Coventry and Sheffield. CWNN in Brighton meets on a Monday for a cuppa and a catch up, to then sing together for an hour and a half and have a hot meal cooked by volunteers.
