England won (thanks to a goal from Sterling) and we had a brilliant litter pick, so definitely a great Sunday!

It was lovely to be joined by Louise and Dan for this Community Mission ( It was great to see Dan back with us from Southampton)

We all joined up with Malings Environmental group, a group of enthusiastic residents passionate about keeping the local area clean (including Byker and Ouseburn)

We were very successful and collected a lot of rubbish between all of us.

I got a bit carried away and stayed on to do some more. Happily our efforts were recognised by Greggs on Shields Road, who rewarded us with tea and coffee.

We will be back again soon for a group run on the 4th July.
