Arrived at Mrs R's ready to do her laundry for her but she insisted on showing me how to do it, so all I really managed to do was lift her bag of clothes and put them in the machine as she couldn't do the lifting - thankfully, she pressed all the buttons.

I'd brought my book ready to wait for it all to finish and move to the dryer, but Mrs R sat with me in reception and we talked for the whole hour - which went very quickly as she had 89 years' worth of stories to tell!

Once the washing machine was finished, I moved all the clothes into the dryer and left Mrs R to the rest of her day.
