Well, whilst on our way to the Wishing Well this evening, we were all in doubt as to whether the black skies would hold out for us.... it really did look like thunder and lightening was threatening.... but.... true to Goodgym form, the rain kept away while we were there - in fact, I think the sun even came out!

It was really lovely to welcome Maddy along for her first Goodgym session. She rolled her sleeves up and got stuck in with the painting and I'm not sure I saw her stop smiling :-))) We hope you enjoyed yourself Maddy!

We've spent several weeks at the Wishing Well helping to clear up the outside space. We've demolished sheds, chopped wood, painted, sanded, swept, scrubbed and generally given everywhere a lovely spruce up. Tonight was no exception. We did more painting, sawing and sanding. Claire took out any of the days' frustrations on the wood that she was sawing and Emma and Maddy got stuck in with the glossing.

It's great to know that the users of the centre are already making use of the rejuvenated outdoor space. I think it's fair to say that it's 'mission accomplished'.

Unfortunately, the heavens did open later in the evening when we'd all returned home - we're all just keeping everything crossed that it didn't undo all our hard work.

Another lovely Goodgym evening as always.
