Jen and Samuel joined Bob and Steve from BBOWT and six volunteers from Friends of Haymill for their working party.

Four volunteers got stuck into the first task which was to fill the skip with the dumped junk that had been retrieved by some volunteers earlier in the week.

The rest of us headed into the reserve to lop down the brambles, pick litter and collect more of the dumped junk.

The skip team soon joined us so we could 'branch' out and cover a wider area. Once we ran out of black bags, and the rain started we took that as our sign to call it a day. We piled more of our rubbish into the skip, counted our tools back in and went our separate ways.

Lol yeah it felt a bit like deja vu today Sara with lopping and litter picking. Lots more random items collected including more lawn mower parts, a childrens bike, a childrens pushchair and a tent.
