I haven't seen as much of our city as I'd have liked over the last 12 months. Which has been good and bad.

Good because it's forced me to explore the local. Greenwich, Blackheath, Lewisham, and the wealth of sights in easy running distance in the South East. And it's forced me to be creative and present so that I do experience the new and the interesting in the local. But not so good because it's closed off much of our wonderful city that sits beyond the easily run-able.

Which is why Thursday evening was a bit of a treat. Ms M needed a few groceries and she also lives in leafy North London. Tick and tick. A little GoodGym and a nice excuse to step out further into our city.

A hop and a step to the Sainsbury's on the Finchley Road, enjoying the blossoming trees en route, and I was on my merry way back to the South East. Filled with the pleasure of a few happy words with Ms M and the energy of exploring somewhere a little new again.
