Christina Savva cheered by other people 25 times.
Christina is part of a crowd that's making a huge noise. Christina has been cheered by 25 people - that's a round of applause just on their own. We hope they keep it up.

Good Gym Ipswich rounded off 2023 with a task supporting Survivors in Transition painting positive affirmations on pebbles to be gifted to their clients.
A huge thank you to those who have been supportive all year - and to the more recent and equally fabulous additions to the group - who have all helped to reactivate the area, found new task owners, spread the word and offered a helping hand to an array of charities and community groups.
Tonight was a festive affair with Christmas tunes, mince pies and an incredible hat worn by Imogen, creating enough festive cheer to turn any reluctant Christmas participants ... A shout out too to Imogen for the pun and edging towards a tremendous collective 'Race the Distance' milestone.
In addition to pebbles we also wrote affirmations in small gift bags to share with SiT clients. A lot of care and attention was taken both with the writing and the painting as it prompted a contemplative as well as joyful mood.

Ten points if you get food related pun...
Many hands made light work of the window cleaning and we swished through both floors in no time.
Well done everyone!

Some might say it wasn't ideal conditions last night to take on another training session but where's there is a will, there is a way...
Clara and Christina were undeterred by the wind and rain and showed up to keep moving towards the 5km target. At points, it did feel like resistance training as the wind howled through the Waterfront but the group showed resolve and we extended the route a little to ensure we are developing more stamina.
Great effort, everyone!

The sun was beginning to set as we made our around Ipswich waterfront and into the park for this week's fitness session.
Progress all round as the group were able to maintain a steady pace and take less recovery time on what was a warm and sticky evening. Well done, team!
Look forward to seeing everyone again soon and seeing if we can take the route a little further.
