We are a community of volunteers supporting people facing severe financial hardship across South West London. Through our local networks, we provide essential items such as food, technology, and furniture to those in need – working alongside schools, councils, charities and other partners to make sure help gets to where it’s needed most.
3 GoodGymers have supported Dons Local Action Group Kingston with 9 tasks.

Collaboration between DLAG, GoodGym and Growbaby. Petra collected donations of mother and baby products from Kingston & Surbiton DLAG stores and dropped them off at Kingston's GrowBaby on Saturday afternoon! Very happy with the amount of products we were able to get to GB.

Saturday afternoon I teamed up with Serena from DLAG for a special collection mission! 🚀
On our donation wish list: nappies, baby wipes, sanitary towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and soap — for adults, children, and babies alike.
Despite the chilly weather, we managed to collect 14 whole boxes of supplies!
A huge thank-you to the wonderfully generous people of Surbiton — you warmed up the day more than the sun ever could. 💛💙

I spent the afternoon at our local stall, collecting essential produce to stock the shelves of the local Food Hub. Thanks to community kindness, I collected a fantastic array of healthy items: Bananas and Oranges, Green Vegetables, Potatoes and Onions. All this fresh food makes a real difference. The boxes were collected by a dedicated Food Hub volunteer, to be sorted and assembled into food parcels tonight. These crucial supplies will go directly to families in need across our area, ready for delivery tomorrow morning. A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by and contributed, providing nutritious meals and vital support to our community.

Today Petra and myself covered the DLag stall outside of waitrose in Surbition collecting from the kind people that shop there when they dropped off some items from the list of what was needed. Between us we did until 3.30 when the driver came to pick up the goods that were all packed neatly in boxes. Everything else that was needed for this event was then packed away ready for next time.
