Frequent Flyer

A small but mighty group of GG-ers gathered at Glass Mill to tackle not 1 but 2 lots of flyering for different events going on in the borough: Brockley Max Festival and Give A Song.

We split into groups, one at Ladywell, one at Brockley and the other running around finding various streets that are having street music party’s.

It wasn’t long before our team in Ladywell had finished handing out flyers to commuters getting off the train after a hard days work so we packed up in Brockley and made our way back to Ladywell.

A slight detour on the way back to tackle one last street for Give A Song and then we all regrouped at Glass Mill.

Thanks to Steve for meeting earlier for some pre-GG GG-ing to flyer a couple of streets over in Crofton Park.

It’s been a lot of flyering recently but that’s it now! Next week we’re heading to Luxmore Gardens, a shorter run of around 3km followed by pizza and/or pasta at Bella Roma.

Take it to the MAX

Monday 16th May 2022

Last nights task was simple enough, 4 groups at 4 stations across the borough handing out programmes for Brockley Max festival which is an arts festival taking place around the Brockley area over 2 weeks, even with an international artist.

The first group headed over to Brockley station to hand out programmes there after collecting them from a nearby pub, they managed 2 boxes of programmes - fantastic work!

The rest of us headed towards Ladywell to drop off the Ladywell station group and to make sure they got the programmes without issue. Next up the group split to Honor Oak and Crofton Park (with a slight detour to Brockley Rock to pick up the programmes).

After a slight mix up with the programmes at Honor Oak Park and a quick extra run to deliver half our programmes from Crofton Park, we were all ready to go!

It was quiet on the streets of Crofton Park but it didn't stop Olivia being the star programme hand outer and speeding through our programmes.

The Honor Oak group came back to Crofton Park once they'd handed all theirs out and then we headed back to Ladywell to collect the Ladywell team. Just in time to help them with a double train arrival.

Great work tonight everyone! Next week we're heading to a brand new task at the PNK Garden.
