A fab evening sowing wild flower seeds and and general weeding in an overgrown ally in Crewe.

Rachel, Maurice & Nicola had a fabulous time tonight in the garden of local charity, Her Place (was Motherwel). We had fun planting bulbs in the raised bed, putting bedding plants into pots and having a bit of a general tidy up.
The title pun references a few issues we had with locking up the building after we finished! I think it must have taken us about 20 minutes before we could get the key to turn in the lock! Lol!
Well done everyone the flowers looked beautiful.

A lovely night with lovely people helping to make a local alley a little bit tidier. We planted some lovely wildflower seeds... we just hope that they take now!
Spotted some beautiful caterpillars as well you'd have loved it Phoenix!
Well done everyone. Another great job done!

103 juniors put on their pumps and sandals and walked, skipped, jogged and ran around the park this morning! all made possible by 24 wonderful volunteers, including 5 GoodGymmers. Tasks carried out by GoodGym members were volunteer coordinator, barcode scanning, photographer, marshals, and packing the kit away afterwards. A great job, made even better by seeing so many juniors keeping fit and having fun!

Karen, Nigel and Maurice were 3 of the 19 fabulous volunteers at junior parkrun today, undertaking lots of roles between them including course set up, volunteer coordinator, marshalling, warm up leader, giving out finish tokens, photographer, event close down, and token sorting. Such a satisfying morning, enabling 95 juniors to be active and have fun!

Three GoodGymmers rolled up to Crewe parkrun for their parkrun fix of volunteering (and a 5k run for Emily). Karen and Nigel were timekeepers, as well as volunteer coordinator for Karen, and post event close down for both. Emily got hands down her favourite role - sorting the 362 finish tokens back into order ready for next week's parkrun over a coffee and chat with friends. its a tough job but someone's got to do it!
