Last week the Government published their Roadmap out of lockdown plan which set out four steps for the lifting of restrictions in England.

We have reviewed this guidance and are pleased to announce that over the coming months the restrictions on GoodGym activities in England will also begin to change. We are working on bringing back the full range of GoodGym activity and plan to bring back group runs and group fitness as soon as it is safe to do so. We will be publishing the changes step-by-step to ensure we are fully prepared for the easing of restrictions that each date will bring.

We are aware that area activators, run leaders, TaskForce and runners need time to prepare for each step, particularly when organising tasks and for the bigger changes such as the return of group runs. We will therefore be giving as much warning as possible about each step change.

While the Government roadmap could mean GoodGym activities resume quicker than the dates below, our guidance seeks to balance the benefit of our activity and to ensure we are being a responsible community in terms of safety. We must be mindful of our interactions with the public when going to and from tasks, and of other park users while doing fitness activities.

Covid guidance at all steps will still apply. Runners should stay local, wear a mask if required and keep socially distanced at all sessions.

Please be aware all these are subject to change in line with government guidance.
