Jane's mixture of experiences and interests is unique. I'm really happy that she's joined us - and think she will contribute hugely to our mission to create happier, healthier and better connected cities. She has deep knowledge of support for older people and also understands how to operate at scale. Most importantly, I think she understand's GoodGym's potential and our relevance to the challenges of isolation and loneliness that communities across the world are facing

Jane said:

I am thrilled to be part of the amazing GoodGym community. Throughout my life, I've witnessed the profound benefits of running and cycling for my own well-being, while also working tirelessly to overcome isolation and loneliness in older people. Every day, GoodGymers across the UK demonstrate the transformative power of regular exercise and assisting older and community groups. I am excited to work with the team to expand our reach to more GoodGymers, older individuals, and community groups.

Jane officially started her role on 3rd November 2023 and succeeds Paul Miller who has been our Chair of Trustees for 8 years supporting our growth from less than 10 areas in 2015 to covering most major cities and towns across the UK today.
