Rodney, Danny and I turned up to help Mrs A get wo carpets our of her house - to make it less dusty. We also needed to get rid or a cupboard. Danny and Ivo got rid of the cupboard in the first five minutes and then the three of us started trying to shift the carpet from the first room. Room one was a living room and the carpet was under a bed and a sofa. We had to shift things around the room and managed to get the dusty old carpet out in about 20 mins. Room two was harder - it has Mrs A's newspaper archive and other belongings in it and it was hard to find room to pull up the carpet. When we did we found a lot of yellow powder- this took us longer but 40 mins later, the carpet was gone and everything was swept up. Job done.

Rodney and Ian pitched up in Brixton to help get Ms T’s bedroom ready by moving furniture and things to make space for a hospital hoist. After sussing the bizarre layout of the flat, we moved a table, a chair, and started moving suitcases and other bags of clothes through to the spare room. But would we be sunk by the trunk?

No way, this is GoodGym and we always get it done. Space was cleared in the bathroom, and then with some careful carrying, pushing and pulling through the doorways (fortunately not down and up the stairs and round three corners to the spare room) it was moved, the space was fully cleared and things were ready as requested.
