On a glorious Friday morning 9 GG'er got their sticks, their gloves and nose pegs on and headed out to the beautiful Jubilee River.
The vast majority of the River is stunningly beautiful and clean, however there are a few stretches that are just littered with beer cans, food wrappings and plastic bags!
We spent around 45 minutes tidying this area up and filled 12 bin bags full of rubbish.
A clean state for the start of the year - lets hope it litteralley continues for the rest of the year

Raj earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Raj completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Raj was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
Raj has done their first good deed with GoodGym. 🎉

GoodGym Runner
Raj has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Raj is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

What a way to celebrate hitting our 1000th Good Deed!
We started the day with a running session at our other Friday run group... shhh dont tell Goodgym
Then we made our way to Costa for fueling... shhh dont tell Goodgym or Run Active
Eventually, we made it to Thames Hospice with a new member in tow... Rajinder....
Our lovely task owner May handed us over to the even lovelier Jonathon who asked us to sort through 30 odd bags of mens clothes into clothing type!
What did we learn?
we dont have to take our clothes off to have a good time.. oh no!

It felt like a trip back to the 80's with our runners modeling caps, leather jackets and waistcoats....
45 minutes later all the bags had been sorted
Job done... we then headed into the shop and a few quid was spent by a couple of us before heading outside for our 1000 photoshoot!
Well done to SutYee for the brillant banner (which doubles up as a mirror - double whamy!)
And to finish off an already awesome morning was lunch at our local grease lightening cafe .... shhhh just dont tell anyone...
