We took the opportunity to do a litter pick in the park post volunterring at junior parkrun.

As always there was plenty to pick!

Mainly food wrappers, vape items, bits of clothing and drinks cans!

What a chilli morning we had at junior parkrun! Well done to the team for braving the cold to support our local junior parkrun with their amazing weekly event!

So after parkrun a few of us went on to pick litter in the car park area of Salt hill park.

We found nappies, food wrappers, booze bottles, clothing!

We managed a bag full before the heavens opened up!

It was lovely to get involved the return of junior parkrun at Salthill after their Christmas break.

We'd offered to help fill the roster and as always the events team were over the moon for our help.

With duties as marshals, scanning and tail walking, we even managed a few km's for the challenge!
