On a rather grim Wednesday evening the Goodgym Haringey troops assembled at Broadwater Farm estate. As tonight's leader Sarah was the first to arrive - though possibly beaten by Mark and newcomer Jessie, who went to the other pin on the run listing.

Task owner Mike explained today's task - carting wheelbarrow loads of mulch up the hill, which got progressively boggier the higher we went. Apparently there is a hidden spring!

The team made short work of the task and had enough time left over to do a side mission to make the Lordship Rec parkrun start and finish less muddy.

Six intrepid GoodGymers braved a cold dark January night to help Tottenham Community Sports Centre. We got stuck in with plenty of cleaning, mostly of toilets, but also occasionally of light switches and other GoodGymers. As usual, many hands made light work, and we had everything sparkling in no time.

Being in a gym gave Neil the opportunity to show off his skills on the pull-up bar and then, inspired by his athletic pursuits, we were all put through our paces with an abs workout led by Latoya. We all enthusiastically participated in this and nobody complained. Not once. Promise.
