Litter Picking at Kennington Cricket Ground

There is a lot of litter about - so we are going to do something about it!
This Saturday 27th 10.30am we will be heading to Kennington Community Cricket Ground to help clear up this local park. The meeting point will be the Kennington Park gates on St Agnes Place.
Please remember to bring your own gloves and bin liner. Be aware of any sharp objects that may be obscured from view.
We are looking for 6 volunteers, please remain socially distanced at all times.

Emma has just reached another level: 100 good deeds with GoodGym. That's at least 100 times when they could have easily done something easier. But they didn't, Emma has kept going and going. Helping a lot of other people and getting a bit fitter at the same time. Congratulations Emma.

Week 5! Litter picking at Kennington cricket ground
We are so lucky to be working with Harriet and her litter picking group South London Litter Action (SOLLA). Harriet managed to secure funding for litter picking equipment and we had members of the local community join us for a very chilly litter picking session!
Once our toes and fingers were suitably frozen, we head to the cafe to get a hot drink to warm ourselves up!

Wow, Emma has completed a 12 month mission streak. That means they've cleared gardens, moved furniture and changed light bulbs in spring, summer, autumn and even winter. Show your support and give them a massive cheer!
