Mindful Chef - Reverse Advent Calendar. FILL YOUR BOX WITH DONATIONS

Sun 20 Dec 18:45 pm
Wanstead House Community Association, 21 The Green, London, E11 2NT
Will provide food to those in need

A good deed everyone can do this December

We’ve been contacted by Mindful Chef, the healthy recipe box company, who have a great way to log a good deed in the run up to Christmas. Their Reverse Advent Calendar scheme is an easy way to give back to communities around the UK. It's a simple idea:

  • 1. Order a free box from jemima@mindfulchef.com
  • 2. Every day in December add an item of non perishable food into the box
  • 3. On 20th December run, walk or cycle your box to your nearest postal location and use the free label to post it back to Mindful Chef who will be distributing the vital supplies with the Felix Project

It is a really easy but effective (and lockdown friendly!) way to give back to families and communities this Christmas.

Let's be the nice stuff run

Mon 30 Nov
Report written by Michal Czekajlo

Yes again we saw fantactic turnout with people running and walking in York, Reading and Leeds.

Folks ran in pairs, solo, or with their dogs and covered distances from just under 2K to over 10k .

Michal bumped into Laura and David while running on the Racecourse.

Has anyone else saw other runners?

As of tomorrow we will be able to train outdoors in groups of 15. The next session will have a different format, however we will retain the 'virtual' element, so folks who are outside York, or just prefer it that way, can join the fun.
