9 GoodGymmers met at Cookham Dean Primary School on a lovely spring evenibg ready to help with some outdoor jobs- cleaning the railings, breaking down an old bench and moving a heavy cupboard. We powered through the jobs in about 30 minutes so with time to spare we asked for some more work and helped to clean the children's leaf shaped benches and stools plus a bigger bench. It made a big difference and we hope to return for some painting / varnishing if the school need us again. Well done everyone!
This was Isha's and Christine's first GoodGym task so welcome both and hope you enjoyed it!

Deepti (She /her) earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Deepti completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Deepti was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Deepti (She /her) has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Deepti is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

Sheila and Rosie put out a call to see if anyone could come and help with transplanting seedlings at the community allotment. We were delighted to be joined by another 5 GoodGymers. We were pleased to welcome Deepti to her very first GoodGym session. We constructed a makeshift workbench on one of the raised beds using some spare board, gathered some planting modules donated by Sheila, Juli and Rosie, and found some top soil to use. We set to work transplanting tomatoes, beans, peas, nasturtiums and parsley. A robin came to visit, hoping to find a tasty morsel.The odd rain shower sent us scurrying for shelter in the greenhouse, and in the end rain stopped play, but not before we had transplanted and watered most of the seedlings. A great team effort
