This week saw 10 of us brave freezing temperatures to run the 3kms to White City Adventure Playground. We were there for the second week to finish off a variety of maintenance jobs for Joel and his team.

Big kudos to John, Susan and Michael who had the unenviable task of weeding (frozen!) nettles! George and Rupesh revamped the bark wood chip area under the swings, Maddie and Maddie painted a rather tired white wall....in their lovely black jackets (eeek!), and Jason and Will happily took the sledge hammers to piles of wood so that it's ready for the very popular fire pit.

Finishing a few mins early was rewarded by a fun play on the zip-line, the rope ladder and the roundabout! Of course this was just a 'warm-up' of our muscles before our run home....

A speedy run back (with a bit of fartlek training thrown in of course!), a stretch and a thawing out session for some of us in Wagamamas saw the end of a great evening.
