Our first Saturday run at Goodgym Bath saw magnificent seven take to the road for a 4k via the canal to the church at manvers street to tackle those railings again for our host Peter. A very warm welcome to a super special

Guest Dave

all the way from Brizzle and our two new Bath belles Ella and Laura taking part in their very first Goodgym run. An intro to the group for the Godfather of Goodgym Bristol and an explanation as to why he has a black t-shirt, giving us all something to aim for at Goodgym. A warm up outside the leisure centre as Hermione hot footed it past the Abbey to meet us at the entrance.

The group took a stride out through Sydney gardens with some super squats then along the canal taking in the scenery as we headed south and back along to Manvers Baptist church to continue with the task of painting the many railing

A miracle again for us with the rain vanishing just in the nick of time, Peter was outside ready and waiting for us with brush in hand and hammerite at feet, Steph handed out the latex gloves and paired the group along the railings to continue what we started in November. It became apparent that the girls were super fast painters and Dave was clearly clutching at straws with reasons why his team were trailing ( that being Steph) n all. The group were drawing lots of attention from passers-by and in particular a gang of scaffolders from Bristol who were in Awww when peter explained to them who we were and what we do, I think Goodgym Bristol may gain some new members next week.

The wind was whipping up and drying the paint as it hit the metal but Peter soon warmed our spirits with a nice hot cuppa Joe and a guided tour of the church and all the good it does for our super guest Dave The group made great progress today and I can safely say we have almost made it with Just enough time to grab a.group snap shot with Peter posing as santa with his black sack.

Nadja had to make a sharp exit before the rest of us took a swift shift back to the leisure centre for a stretch out and reminder about getting paired up with your very own running coach.

Dave you are a true legend and the Bath beauties the best.

Great having you all along today and look forward to the next great adventure

Thanks guys steph
