You won't be-leaf how much we got done

You won’t be-leaf how many leaves we collected and cleared! There were 7 of us on our latest run task.

This week we ran from the usual start off point of Lifeleisure Grandcentral at 6.30pm. We started at a lovely pace to warm up, down hill to then be greeted by the hill up!

After a maze of backstreets we finally made it to our destination of Broadstone Hall primary school to clear the passage way.

Once the gloves were on and bags (and 2 pairs of scissors!) were given out we set to it, who could fill the bag the fastest?!

We clearly have some competitive runners over at GoodGym Stockport as the bags were furiously being loaded with leaves. As well as removing the million billion leaves from the floor, we also collected up litter so that the place was a cleaner space for everyone.

The passage is used not only by the school, by by 2 local high schools and the nursery as well as dog walkers to the field, there were lots of nettles and twigs and bits and pieces sticking out, and we cleared it to pave the way for everyone to walk free! Hurrraahhhh.

Well done team of 7 we did amazing as ever, you were un-be-leaf-able……….
