On this saturday morning, Anna and I returned to see the lovely Mrs E. and finish what we started the previous week. Before making a start, we realised that the lightbulb in the corridor needed to be changed. So did the battery of the fire alarm which was beeping loudly.

Even though it wasn't the purpose of our visit, Anna went to get the lightbulb and the batteries from the shop around the corner. In the meantime, I started painting the door frames and got Mrs. E. to reveal the secrets of the perfect Meringue, her favourite treat.

Because Mrs E. told her not to worry about changing the lightbulb and the fire alarm because it was a man's job, Anna took on the challenge and showed Mrs E. what a GoodGym woman is all about. Needless to say that Mrs E. was well impressed and really thankful. These two tasks done, Anna painted half of the floor with some proper paint.

After around an hour and a half, we left with such a good feeling of achievement, having done 4 good deeds in one. On our way out, we found 2 paper bags containing 6 delicious cakes each that Mrs E. had baked for us the night before. Such a wonderful lady. As soon as we reached home, Anna and I sent pretty much the same message to each other: "OMG! The cakes are so good!" We will definitely be back for some more.... painting obviously!
