I got a text on Friday from a local church, which does food hamper deliveries in my area. I had not heard from them for a while. They were really desperate for help and so it was nice to know that GoodGym could be on hand to lend support.

It was raining heavily when I picked the food up but felt impervious to the wet. Could this possibly be the Good Gym factor? I had to hold onto the food until the afternoon as the person I was delivering to was working and only had a short break in which to come home and take delivery. I was there on time and it really puts things into perspective because she said that she did not have a cooker and so anything that needed to be cooked was useless. We take things like cookers for granted. I suggested that she got onto the charity that had provided her with the food in order to see about getting one. She was really grateful for the help though and it was another successful hamper delivery done.
