8 GoodGymers ran 6k to Abney park cemetery to shovel 2 tonnes of woodchip to winterproof 100 metres of vital Park path.

Great to welcome Philippa for her first GoodGym Run!!

Welcome back Suze from her extended Asian adventure.

Big congratulations to Ros for her New Forest marathon efforts on Sunday!

Look out for the Biggest Community Mission Ever as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations!!

Remember next week is our 10th anniversary Hackney Social post run!!

After a relaxed run down to Stokey to meet Quentin at Abney Park we loaded up with lamps, wheelbarrows, shovels, rake, grabbers and bin bags. Then headed deep into the unknown (well kind of).

With a smaller squad this week we had to work hard!! Smashing the shovelling to load up the narrows in record time before the toppers ran through the park at pace to get the woodchip tipped out and spread out!

Total team work had up laying the path at an unbelievable rate! And with an infusion of energy in the last 15 minutes from the returning litter pickers the extra impetus saw us complete the path in the nick of time!

All completed, tidied up and run back to base with slightly more than 90 minutes of glorious GoodGyming complete!

See you next week

Joel
