Wingman supports International Day of the Midwife

A special one off assignment to bring the Wingman team over to the maternity Abbey Wing at St Peter's Hospital, despite the lounge now closed in the Education centre.

All credit to Nadia, Katy, Amy & Katie for setting up the Pre-Ed room with bunting, bed sheet covered tables, and a few handy bean bags for lounging. The flyer team were our fabulous Leader Capt Laura South - Easyjet, Cabin Manager Laura - Virgin Cabin Crew Lesley - BA Flight Attendant Sula - private / corporate.

The initial rush came early to find a lot of giveaway goodies and treats, plus home made baked cookies and beverages served along with some really great chat with the staff about midwifery and where everyone thinks they'd like to travel to again. We took our smiles and treats out on a trolley to visit various wards, which proved very successful. Finally there was an amazing cake to cut and slice up for everyone including the night shift who also had goodie boxes to enjoy. Onwards and upwards 🤗
