GoodGym arrived at Hull Road Park on a blustery evening to continue removing the large pile of silt. This was left after the weirs were removed and the aim is to dug up the pile and turn it into a flat bed for wildflowers.

Whilst the rest of St Nicks were wading in the river removing willows and getting stuck in the mud (needing a shovel to get out!), we got straight to work digging up the pile, breaking up the large clumps and flattening out as much as we could. After an hours work, we managed to make a big dent, but still not complete! One more time and we should finish it (I've said that before...)
