Will & Gill Went Up The Hill

It was Gill’s first time volunteering as a VI running guide at Wardown Parkrun today. Despite initial nerves, she managed successfully to help Will navigate the 3 and a bit laps of Wardown Park including 4 times up THE HILL. Will was slightly surprised by a slap in the face from an errant weeping willow at the start of the run. Being only 5 foot 7 Gill hadn’t anticipated this being a problem but, at 6 foot 3, Will needed specific professional instruction in order to avoid the Willow encounter on subsequent laps - i.e. Gill shouting “Duck” at the top of her voice.
