Tottenham Ploughman events are seasonal celebrations of locally produced cheese, beer and bread (with added street food, music, art and craft). Goodgym helped out at the summer event, Riverfest, with a litter pick along the Lea. At the winter festival Goodgymmers Sarah and Manish were tasked with collecting up the signs that had advertised the event.

Armed with a map that showed the locations of the signs, Sarah and Manish met at Tottenham Hale station and ran around Tottenham collecting them up. They were attached by way of some very clever re-usable zip ties.

Near Seven Sisters we bumped into a street sweeper who said "I picked up a couple of those earlier". So we had the added uncertainty of not knowing whether the signs we were looking for were there or not! In the end though there were only a couple we couldn't find, and we assumed the sweeper had got to them first.

We arrived at Bruce Castle just as the event was finishing, and were presented with a box of cheese each from local dairy Wilde's Cheese. Then we realised we had run over 6.5km while collecting up the signs! Attachments area
