I have a weekly help slot for Mr T now who is extremely grateful each time I meet him. He’s always super organised and has a list ready, money and bag for me. It’s the usual - soup, blue top milk, fruit and some extra surprises each week (this week was razors and raisins!) on my return, he was so overwhelmed - I asked if he was okay. He said you know “when it rains it pours”. He continued “I am so lucky to have your help each week and you know The council have just dropped off a food parcel too. “ He went back into his house and said wait there ... he produced the most thoughtful thing! He had written me a list of Classical music recommendations... I was speechless and very close to crying. He finally added “this is my way of saying thank you.”
