Wheelie Tyred in the Hot Sun

In recent weeks, GoodGymmers have been returning to the Ringcross Community Centre Foodbank more and more. Earlier this week, several of us were trained up to use the magnificent electric-assisted cargo bike (also pictured), and today the building was buzzing with volunteers gathering, sorting and delivering desperately needed food for people in the local area.

Adrian from Hackney and Steve from Islington rolled up and quickly set to work ferrying (heavy!) bags through the winding, melting streets to people nearby who can't make it to the food bank under their own steam.

It makes a huge difference to people, and it's a really good way to test your London navigation skills - hope to see you at another some time!
