Wham, Spam, Thank You M’aam

Guess what?! It’s Saturday, and I was doing Mrs J’s shopping! In other news, water is wet.

And didn’t I know that, as it decided to pour down with unexpected rain as I left to get to Asda. What else was unexpected, was that I bumped into two of my cousins on the corner of the street on my cycle down! After a cheeky catch up over a croissant, I carried on to the supermarket (and by now the rain had stopped, so a win win all around).

V’s list for the week had most of the usual suspects on, including 20 bars of galaxy smooth milk chocolate. The last 5 multipacks!

By the time I was out, it was drizzling once more, and on the ride between the shop and Mrs J’s, myself and the bag of shopping did get a little soggy. Mrs J was quick to the door, and seemed in shock that I had 20 bars of chocolate for her. She checked, and counted out the bars, still a little confused, so insisted I took one bar home with me, to make sure she didn’t have all 20. I couldn’t say no, as I’d managed to avoid taking any galaxy back with me for the past few weeks!

We had a quick chat, which mostly consisted of Mrs J telling me I had a lovely face (there is a reason I keep coming back, and the chocolate isn’t it), before I braved the rain once again and went home.
